| Visit Guest Book Berkowitz, Sylvia age 84, of St. Paul, passed away Feb. 15, 2011. Loving Mother, Baubie, Sister, Aunt and Friend. Preceded in death by loving husband, Irvin; siblings & spouses, Yordis & Charlie Hirschorn, Jenny & Irving Tenenholtz, Minnie & Louie Taple, Marion & Al Lovick, Florence & Harry Pistner, Sol & Eleanor Dudovitz; brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Vernon & Ann Berkowitz, Esther Golob-Smerkins & Milt Golob, Cyril Berkowitz. Survived by children, Barb & Phil Herman, Dianne & Rich Danov, Mark Berkowitz, Dennis & Judy Berkowitz; grandchildren, Ross & Kim Herman, Cory & Dana Herman, Lisa Herman, Stacy Danov, Justin & Melissa Berkowitz; great-grandchildren, Daniel, Alexis, Tyler, Carly and Aidan Herman; also survived by brother-in-law, Herb Smerkins; sister-in-law, Elaine Berkowitz; many loving nieces and nephews. Special thanks to all of the caring staff at Sholom Home East, Hamline neighborhood. Sylvia was a strong and compassionate woman. She passed away with dignity and grace, just the way she lived her life. She was a wonderful role model and will be deeply missed by her family and friends. AM Subject: Sad News Dear Family and
Friends...it is with great sadness that I wish to inform you of the passing
of my dear mother, Sylvia Berkowitz, this morning. As you know, she
gave her family a gift of over 4 1/2 years since first becoming sick.
Her passing was with ease and dignity. Funeral arrangements are being
made for this Thursday and will be listed in both the St. Paul and Mpls.
